Is luxury vinyl flooring a good fit for bathroom decorating?

One of the most important aspects of luxury vinyl (LVF) is complete waterproof capability, which, combined with the stunning visuals, makes it the ideal choice for the bathroom.

Luxury vinyl plank: the best of both worlds

Wood floors are trending, but that was never possible for the bathroom until now. Luxury vinyl plank refers to the material being cut into strips and mounted on boards to mimic hardwood planks. Like all LVF, the planks (LVP) have images taken with high definition photography, are clear, vibrant, and accurate, and have micro beveling and embossing to add depth, dimension, and textured looks.

You can also get the material cut into squares, called luxury vinyl tile, that can be used with or without grout. By no means are you limited as to how you can use either. For example, some use plank for the stone mimics, while others may use LVT to echo wood-look tile.

Some ideas to get the creative process going:

1. Turn your bathroom into the atmosphere of an upscale spa, a look right now that's mainly trending. Use marble LVP on the floor, with glass tiles on the wall (or patterned LVT)

2. Create floor art with deco tiles in mosaic penny shapes, metallics, florals, black and white stencil patterns, etc.

3. Let your bathroom become a European palazzo with travertine, terrazzo, slate or marble LVF, plank, or tile form.

All LVF is durable, five times thicker than the original product, with a thick top transparent melamine wear sheet that protects the floor from scratches and scuffs. In addition, it is waterproof from bottom to top, which can be submerged or spilled on.
It is low maintenance, only requiring daily sweeping and weekly mopping. Installation is also easy, especially with a floating floor click, mat, and hover.
